Coffee used to be my favourite morning ritual, and will always have a special place in my heart. While I've been cutting coffee out as much as possible, I do still indulge in the occasional treat. It's all about balance people!

Warm lemon water on an empty stomach is a wonderful way to start the day. To me it feels very clean and pure, which may in part be due to the detoxifying effects lemon water has on the liver and body. I like to drink mine warm so that it isn't a big shock to the body, and so my body doesn't have to work too hard to warm me up.
